Riley is an undergraduate student who has been with the lab since August 2024. She is graduating with her Bachelor's in Aerospace Engineering in May 2026, and has developed an interest in Experimental Materials Science. After graduation she is planning on getting her Ph.D. researching Mechanics of Materials. During her time with Hazeli Research Group she interned with Oak Ridge National Lab, where she researched additively manufactured refractory-based alloy systems for use in harsh environments.
